So the week started on the slow side, I wasn’t feeling the best. However, I
began feeling better as the week went along. I did biceps and back on Monday, I
did a total of 9 sets and 10 sets for each. My back felt really strong and full.
Biceps had good pump, strong on dumbells, not as strong but not bad for a 10
year layoff. I did 20 minutes of cardio and meals were fairly clean… We had a
great Photoshoot with Bernadett Matassa IFBB Pro and soon to be Pro Antonio

Tuesday started with am cardio watching a goregous sunrise. Full morning of
clients and then squeezed in some triceps. I did 35 lbs weighted dips 12×3.
Followed by acsending close grips upto 205 for 10. finished with pushdowns 122
for 4 sets of 12. Not too shabby.

Wed. was a cardio only day, did 30 minutes. Man, it was a super stressful day. I
have so much to do and just not enough hours in a day. Came in at 6:45am didn’t
leave til almost 9pm.. Long day…

So, it Thursday, we leave for New
York in a week. My wife is competing in the IFBB NY Pro Bikini and we have my
nieces’ wedding to attend. Alot of shit to do before we can feel at ease about
leaving. My wife posed for me today. She looks AWESOME, best package she has put
on the Pro stage so far. We will see if she is penalized for looking to much
like an athlete and not soft and smooth enough. She refuses to give in and I
agree, she needs to step on stage how she feels she is at her best. For her that
is being on the leaner side wide some abds. I can’t fault her for that.  I on
the other hand had a strong shldr workout, 185 Hammer Iso presses, 30 pound
strict db side lats and 122 pound strict rear delt flys on pec deck. Felt strong
today, I took my Labrada Stim-Force. I really like this stuff…  30 minutes of
cardio and some grilled chicken and salad for dinner… I need to get a couple
inches of this waist….

That stage was ROCKIN from the onset til the winners were announced on Saturday afternoon. The Big winner was Floridas’ own Al Auguste. Al had a full, thick muscle with good seperation.  He looked some much bigger than the 212 limit for this class. We are looking forward to see Al do well in Las Vegas this September and bring home another Olympia title to Florida.

 

 

 

 

  The womans Figure Title went to another Florida Pro, Candice Keene. Candice put a classic, Lean, round, full muscled physique on the stage. As always her stage presence was incredible. The hometown crowd loved every minute of it. We are hoping this win will carry over to the New York Pro which Candice will competing next.  We will be there to root Candice on. Hopefully She will be able to bring home another title and then look foward to September and the Olympia.
